Centella Asiatica also promotes skin hydration and, at the same time, reduces inflammation during a four-week clinical trial experiment on 25 subjects.

The content of antioxidants in the skin is further increased by asiaticoside, which also contributes to repair processes. Besides this, Centella Asiatica is also highly applied in the formulation of products for cellulite and striae reduction, since its application improves microcirculation and supports healthy metabolic processes in the connective tissue.
Generally, Centella Asiatica is an invaluable active in skin care for benefits that range from hydration and wound healing to anti-aging. Its ability to improve hyaluronic acid, collagen production, and control of microcirculation turns it very effective in products for skin repair and hydration.
