Lactobacillus/Arundinaria Gigantea Ferment Filtrate

Lactobacillus/Arundinaria Gigantea Ferment Filtrate is a cosmetic ingredient derived from fermented bamboo, Arundinaria gigantea, via the fermentation action of Lactobacillus lactis. After maceration and fermentation of the stalks and leaves of the plant, a filtrate rich in silica, an essential mineral responsible for strength and smooth skin, is obtained. Bamboo contains a rich amount of silica; after fermentation, it becomes more bioavailable to skin and allows it to naturally improve skin texture. Though not a complete duplicate of silicone, silica gives a smooth and refined feel that is much more natural for softness in formulations.
Fermentation may also improve antioxidant activity that helps protect the skin against oxidative damage induced by environmental stressors. While bamboo is not a primary source of isoflavones, it does contain other polyphenols and bioactive compounds offering antioxidant benefits, and the fermentation process with Lactobacillus further aids in the extract's bioavailability. Overall, Lactobacillus/Arundinaria Gigantea Ferment Filtrate is added to various products for its skin-smoothing, strengthening, and antioxidant effects. Thus, it is valued in formulations for a smooth, silky finish without using synthetic silicones.
This is the modified version, which reflects the benefits and properties of this ingredient correctly, without misrepresenting its complex function and nature.
